Antique American Stained Glass Windows
Antique American Figural Window with a central Christ figure set against a wonderfully executed background of flowers, vineage and perhaps Jerusalem. Originally installed at the Lancaster Moravian church and was dedicated July 1st, 1923. The window was executed by Rudy Bro. Studio (see the research document in the last thumbnail) and has extensive layering as well as the use of drapery glass in the gown.
The window has been had some restoration in terms of cementing and some backing glass replacement in the upper right quadrant. In its new Walnut frame it measures 55 1/4” x 90” and is in excellent condition.
