Antique American Stained Glass Windows
As a rule I do not deal in ’new' or ‘English, non-American’ stained glass. While I find some European Windows to be very nice they are outside of my background. I have stayed away from new Windows (American or otherwise..i.e.Asian) because the quality of workmanship, materials, composition and color-sense just don’t hold up against American work from the 1890’s-early 20th Century. However….there are a few Studio’s today who are doing exceptional work and I feel that Mark and Jeannne Bogenrief/Bogenrief Studio’s certainly fit the bill. The windows on this page are ones that I have admired and happily have where I can see them every day.
Clicking the images below will link to a page specific to that work.
