I saw the Nappanee United Methodist Church windows and looked at your web site. You show some beautiful work.
I thought you might like to know that they were manufactured by the Temple Art Glass Company of Chicago. I believe the glass was made by the Kokomo Opalescent Glass Co but don't have documentation. They were installed in the Nappanee Methodist Episcopal Church which was built in 1916. The building was used until 1974. In 1974 after several mergers the Nappanee United Methodist Church built a new sanctuary to the east of the original building. The old building continued to be used for education and fellowship until 1989 when it was replaced with a new wing for education and fellowship. The windows were carefully removed in 1988 when the building was razed. Most of the windows were sold at auction that year but some windows were retained and incorporated into the new building.
It would be interesting to know how two of the windows ended up in your studio in northeast Oregon.
